BRING BROOKINS HOME

John Brookins is a son, a brother, an uncle, a husband, and a grandfather. To many, he is a leader, a teacher, and a friend. He is a yoga instructor and runs fitness and meditation programs for his colleagues, and to know John is to know a loving, deeply spiritual, and inspiring man.

John has also been in prison for thirty years for a crime he did not commit.

On December 20th 1990, John witnessed the aftermath of the murder of his friend, Sheila Ginsberg. Eighteen months later, he was convicted of the crime, and he remains in prison to this day.

John’s is a story of cover-ups, coercion, and mistakes. It might seem too much to believe, but it’s all true. Since the crime, John has consistently denied being the perpetrator, even passing a lie detector test in 1991 to that effect.

John’s family is waiting for him on the outside. The time for action is now. Please show your support for John’s cause below.

UPDATES FROM TEAM BROOKINS

HOLDING BUCKS COUNTY TO ACCOUNT

The Bucks County justice system has done nothing but fail John repeatedly over the last 30 years. Here is the latest example.

In the below clip from John’s 2021 public hearing with the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons, member John Wiliams questions DA Matt Weintraub about the letter his team provided to the Board of Pardons, outlining why John should not be released.

Unfortunately for Ms. Graziano and DA Weintraub, his admission that he should be “brought up on charges” if there were any falsehoods in his letter might come back to haunt him, as that is what we have found. See below a link to the documentation we have provided to the Board of Recommendations that proves why that is the case.

JOHN DENIED COMMUTATION BY PA BOARD OF PARDONS

John was sadly denied commutation by the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons on March 5th. The board voted 4-1 against granting John commutation after a heated and intense debate, especially between LG John Fetterman and DA Matt Weintraub. DA Weintraub and Governor Fetterman clashed over the DA Office’s refusal to test the scissors in John’s case.

You can watch some of the footage from the hearing below:
